  6. For auto shops on ShopMonkey

Each payment is recorded on the repair order in ShopMonkey with the amount, card brand and last four digits. The ticket and the terminal agree.

03How it works

Three steps, set up at your counter.

No online signup, no call center.

Most counter problems are a cable, a Wi-Fi password, or not knowing who to call. Installing it ourselves means we have stood at your counter before anything goes wrong.

  1. We talk

At your counter or by email. We look at how you take payment today and quote pricing for your volume.

  2. We install

We bring the terminal, pair it to your business and run a live transaction with you.

  3. You take cards

Support is one email to a person who knows your business.

05Common questions

What shop owners ask first.

What does Yew provide?

The terminal, the payment software on the counter and the in-person setup. Card processing itself runs through a partner processor; we set it up with you and quote pricing per business.

I run an auto shop on ShopMonkey. Does it connect?

Yes. Each payment is recorded on the repair order in ShopMonkey with the amount, card brand and last four digits.

What should I bring to the visit?

Your current processing statement. We look at what you pay now and what it would cost to leave, and tell you plainly whether switching makes sense.

Which businesses is this for?

Businesses that take cards at a counter, in and around San Francisco. Our first customers are independent auto shops. We install and support it in person, so that is where we work.

Who do I contact when something breaks?

Andy, by email. Support is one person who knows your business and your setup, not a call center.

Can I see it before I decide?

Yes. We bring the terminal to your counter and run a transaction with you. Pricing is quoted for your business in person.
